The Movement Method
A core class refined through years of children's movement practice — combining age-based progression, purposeful play, and coach-led challenge.
Designed to spark early interest in movement and build confidence, coordination, focus, teamwork, and healthy habits over time.
Eight growth areas, observed through play.
Coaches notice real, repeatable signals — never scores or labels.
Upper-Body Strength
How long they hang and climb, and how far & accurately they throw.
Lower-Body Power
How far and high they jump, and the drive behind each take-off.
Landing Control
Whether they land softly, balanced, and ready to move again.
Balance & Stability
How steady they stay on narrow, raised, or moving surfaces.
Coordination
How smoothly they link movements and track moving targets.
Agility & Reaction
How quickly they change direction and respond to a signal.
Focus & Listening
How well they follow directions and stay with a task.
Teamwork & Confidence
How they cooperate, take turns, and take on new challenges.
One month covers all eight growth areas.
Each month has four classes. Every class quietly checks two areas through play — so by month's end, your child's full growth picture comes together.
Push & Aim
Upper-body strength & coordination — e.g. tossing beanbags to "feed the animals."
Jump & Land
Lower-body power & landing control — e.g. leaping across the "lava river."
Steady & Focused
Balance, stability & focus — e.g. crossing a wobbly "bridge" with control.
React & Team Up
Agility, reaction, teamwork & confidence — e.g. a full-team "rescue mission."
A typical 45-minute class.
Warm-Up
Playful movement to get bodies ready, settle energy, and bring focus to the group.
Skill Practice
Coach-led practice of a target skill — balance, landing, climbing, or coordination — at each child's level.
Obstacle Course
Kids apply the skill in a fun, full-body obstacle challenge that rewards effort and problem-solving.
Team Challenge
Partner and group activities that build communication, patience, and teamwork.
Coach Wrap-Up
A short cool-down and reflection — coaches note what each child worked on and celebrate effort.
Kids experience it as play. Parents see it as progress.
There are no stressful tests at KidFitLab. Every class includes a short, playful checkpoint — fun obstacle challenges kids love. Across a month of classes, coaches observe all eight growth areas and turn them into one clear report. Every quarter the theme changes — same skills, new adventure — so kids stay excited.
